About this project
Currently, there are no off-the-shelf, consumer-grade heliostat systems available on the market. This gap in accessible solar technology limits the widespread use of solar thermal energy, which has the potential to dramatically improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact across industries and homes.
Our Innovation:
At CADLETE, we took on the challenge of developing a retail-ready heliostat system—a first-of-its-kind product aimed at bringing advanced solar tracking technology to everyday users.
What We Did:

AI-Powered Design: Leveraging advances in machine learning and automation, we created a smart heliostat prototype capable of automatically tracking the sun and reflecting its rays with precision, maximizing solar energy usage throughout the day.

Functional Prototyping: We used sheet metal fabrication to build a rugged yet lightweight structure, ideal for outdoor installation. All electronics and components were carefully mounted, with clean wire routing for safety and ease of maintenance.

Compact & Scalable: The design focuses on being affordable, compact, and modular, making it suitable for both residential and small-scale industrial applications.
