The Hobby Helper is a versatile tool designed for miniature war gamers, artists, and modelers to improve precision, organization, and painting comfort. Combining the functions of a painting handle and a pin vice, it allows users to securely hold, drill, and easily swap models or parts during detailed work.

What We Did:

• Complete Product Design: We designed the entire enclosure, internal mechanism, and ergonomic handle to deliver both comfort and functionality during long creative sessions.
• Prototype Development: Following plastic injection molding guidelines, we created a series of high-quality 3D printed prototypes to validate design, usability, and mechanical performance.
• Kickstarter Launch Support: The client used our functional MVP prototypes to successfully launch a Kickstarter campaign, receiving strong community support and widespread recognition among hobbyists.
• Manufacturing & Production:After the campaign’s success, we engineered and built the plastic injection molds, and produced over 500 units of the Hobby Helper handles through injection molding, ensuring precision, quality, and consistency at scale.

This project demonstrates our ability to take a creative product from concept to mass production, supporting our client through every stage, from design and prototyping to crowdfunding and manufacturing success.
