Lemur 2.0 DIY STEM Kit

About this project
After successfully developing the first-generation Hologram STEM Kit for this client, we were tasked with creating an improved version, Lemur 2.0, a refined and lightweight evolution of the original design.
What we did
Material optimization: Detailed material research and selection identified a new structural material that made the updated kit 2.5 times lighter than the previous version while maintaining strength and durability.
Enhanced aesthetics & ergonomics: Our industrial design engineering team enhanced the product’s form and surface finish to align with the client’s brand identity and improve its overall look and feel.
Manufacturing readiness: The design continues to follow laser-cutting and assembly-friendly guidelines, ensuring the new kit can be mass-produced efficiently.
Continued interactive learning: Like the first edition, Lemur 2.0 still allows users to interact with 3D digital models using commercial-grade optical components, maintaining its educational and engaging experience.
This project highlights our ability to evolve an existing design through strategic material optimization, aesthetic refinement, and manufacturing expertise, resulting in a smarter, lighter, and more polished product.
