Industrial Design

The chosen concept gets developed into real form: ergonomics, CMF (colour, material, finish), and photorealistic renders you can actually evaluate, not a rough model.
Engineering
Mechanical, electrical, and firmware architecture.
Mechanical CAD, PCB architecture, and firmware scope get built out together, in the same team, so a mechanical decision that affects the electronics gets caught here, not after tooling.
Prototyping
