Handheld Bottle Holder: From a Real Parenting Problem to a USA E-commerce Product

A gooseneck holder born from a real parenting problem
Our client, a working parent in the USA, developed a handheld bottle holder concept from personal experience managing work while caring for their baby.
CADLETE Designs transformed that rough sketch into a market-ready, mass-produced product designed to simplify feeding while letting parents multitask comfortably, now sold on Amazon USA and other e-commerce platforms.
What made this project hard
Universal ergonomic grip
Accommodating different hand sizes while securely supporting the baby and a device at the same time.
Gooseneck mechanism engineering
Lightweight construction that still holds a filled bottle steady at variable angles.
Universal bottle compatibility
Adapting to various baby bottle shapes and sizes without becoming overly complex.
Portability
A travel-friendly form that stayed compact for packaging and everyday practicality.
From rough sketch to a mass-produced product
Eight stages, one team, no handoffs between them.
Ergonomic Exploration
Over 30 3D-printed prototype variations tested for hand-size adaptability.
Gooseneck Engineering
CAD simulation and structural analysis optimized thickness and strength.
DFM for Molding
Design optimized for plastic and silicone injection molding.
Mass Production
2,000+ units manufactured and air-shipped to the client.
Over 30 prototypes for ergonomic perfection
Multiple industrial design concepts led to more than 30 3D-printed prototype variations, with a Velcro strap system added specifically to adapt to different hand sizes.

A gooseneck engineered for strength and flexibility
CAD simulations and structural analysis optimized the gooseneck’s thickness, flexibility, and strength, so it could hold a filled bottle steady at variable angles without excess weight.
The bottle-holding mechanism itself went through multiple concept rounds before landing on a minimal, universal holder with Velcro support.
Design for manufacture and everyday use
The design was optimized for plastic and silicone injection molding to ensure consistent quality and cost-effective mass production, alongside real-world usability testing and refinement.
A travel pouch, retail packaging, branding, user manuals, and thank-you cards were developed to complete the product experience, along with photorealistic renders for the website and Amazon listings.

Mass production and logistics
Over 2,000 units were manufactured and air-shipped to the client’s location under a fully managed process, launching a scalable foundation for future product upgrades.
What shipped
"Now actively sold on Amazon USA and other e-commerce platforms, with a scalable foundation for future upgrades."
