Baby Bottle Bed
About this project
Caregivers feeding litters of baby animals one bottle at a time lose time they do not have. We designed and prototyped the Baby Bottle Bed to let one caregiver feed up to eight animals at once, safely and hands free.
What we did
Multi-feeding layout: A circular station holds up to eight bottles at once, cutting total feeding time by more than half for litters or groups.
Comfort-first geometry: The round shape keeps animals close together and near their caregiver, which helps them stay calm during feeding.
Hands-free operation: Velcro straps hold each bottle in place, so the caregiver never has to hold bottles individually and can attend to other tasks.
Consistent nutrition tracking: The fixed, measured layout makes it easier to track how much each animal is actually drinking.
Working prototype: We built and tested a functional prototype, choosing materials and an attachment method that stay easy to clean, durable, and safe around animals.
Built for animal breeders, hobby farmers, pet shelters, and veterinary practices, the Baby Bottle Bed shows how a simple change in geometry can solve a real, repetitive caregiving problem.
