Can you manufacture directly from my CAD files?
Yes. We can fabricate from your existing CAD files or flat patterns, or review them for manufacturability. If needed, our engineering team can recommend design improvements before production begins.
What information do you need to prepare a quotation?
A CAD model or 2D drawing, estimated production quantity, preferred material and thickness, finish requirements, and any critical dimensions or performance requirements are typically enough to prepare an accurate quotation.
Can CADLETE improve my design before production?
Absolutely. We perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to optimize bends, features, and joining, improve manufacturability, and help lower production costs without affecting functionality.
What production volumes are best suited for sheet metal fabrication?
Sheet metal fabrication suits prototypes through medium and higher production volumes without dedicated molds. Very high volumes of simple parts may benefit from dedicated tooling.
Is there a minimum order quantity, and who owns the tooling?
There is no minimum order quantity, we manufacture at zero MOQ. Any die or tool built for your project is also yours, outright and immediately, no amortization clause and no lien on it, and we never resell it, repurpose it, or run it for another client.
How is our design data and IP protected?
A non disclosure agreement and any written IP paperwork your project needs are signed before a file is shared. All manufacturing is done in-house, nothing is subcontracted to China or a third-country vendor, so your files, tooling, and IP never leave our facility or pass through any other party.
What tolerances can you hold on sheet metal parts?
Standard sheet metal fabrication typically holds ±0.25mm to ±0.50mm, tightening to ±0.13mm to ±0.20mm on precision work. Standard and precision tolerances are priced differently, tighter tolerances need slower processing and additional inspection, so tell us which tier your part needs and we will quote accordingly.
