Who Builds the Mold, and Who Owns It?

Molds and die-casting dies are designed with your part, built for your volume and yours from day one.

Mold steels

Aluminum for bridge molds. P20 or 718H for most production. NAK80 for a high polish. H13 for high volumes and glass-filled plastics. S136 stainless for clear and medical parts.

Mold life (typical)

Aluminum: tens of thousands of shots. P20 and 718H: about 300,000 to 500,000. H13 and S136: up to about 1,000,000.

Cavities and presses

1, 2, 4 or 8 cavities, or a family mold that makes several parts in one shot. Presses of about 50 to 500 tonnes, matched to your part.

Lead time to first samples

Bridge mold: 2 to 3 weeks. Steel mold: 4 to 8 weeks. Die-casting die: 5 to 8 weeks. Counted from design sign-off.

First sample approval

You see the first parts on video, then receive physical samples to approve before any production run.

Ownership

You own the mold or die from day one, with a mold passport: photos, steel, cavities, shot count and the right to move it.

Tooling we have built

How Will I Know the Parts Are Right?

Every order is checked against your drawing before it ships. Choose the inspection level and the documents your own quality process needs.

Inspection levels

01

Standard check

Parts checked against your drawing before packing. Included with every order.

02

Sample report

A measured report on a sample of the parts from each batch.

03

Full report

Every part measured, for critical or safety parts.

Reports beyond the standard check are quoted as a separate line.

Documents on request

  • Certificate of conformance
  • Material certificate
  • Dimensional inspection report
  • First article inspection report
  • RoHS and REACH declaration

Certified quality systems

First sample approval

You approve the first parts on video, then as physical samples, before production starts.

Electronics testing

Assembled boards go through automated optical inspection and functional tests, with firmware checked.

See the photos and reports you get at each stage →

Who Will I Be Working With?

One team across three offices. The engineer who reviews your design follows your parts through production to delivery.

Questions About Our Manufacturing Capabilities

What tolerance can you hold?

Standard tolerances are ±0.05 to ±0.13 mm for CNC machining, ±0.10 to ±0.20 mm for injection molding, ±0.20 to ±0.50 mm for casting and ±0.25 to ±0.50 mm for sheet metal. Precision tiers go tighter, down to ±0.0025 mm on high-precision VMC machining. Tighter tolerances cost more to hold, so mark only the features that need them on your drawing.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. We make single prototypes, small batches and full production runs. The best-fit quantities on this page show where each process gives the best price per part, not a minimum.

How fast will I get a quote?

Within 24 hours. Send your 3D model or drawing with the material, quantity and any critical tolerances, and an engineer reviews it for manufacturing before quoting.

How long until I receive first samples?

Typically 3 to 5 working days for 3D printing, 7 to 10 working days for CNC and sheet metal, 5 to 10 working days for bare PCBs, 4 to 8 weeks for injection-molded parts and 5 to 8 weeks for die castings, counted from design sign-off. Your quote gives the date for your part.

Who owns the mold?

You do, from day one. Every mold and die we build for you comes with a mold passport recording its steel, cavities, photos and shot count, and the written right to move it.

What inspection reports do I get?

Every order gets a standard check against your drawing before packing. Measured reports on a sample or on every part, first article inspection reports, material certificates, certificates of conformance and RoHS or REACH declarations are available on request.

Which files do you need?

STEP, IGES or STL for 3D parts, DXF for flat sheet metal and laser cutting, Gerber files and a BOM for PCBs, plus a PDF drawing for any tolerances, threads or finishes. If you only have a sketch or a sample, our engineers can model it first.

How do you ship?

Samples go by express air. Production goes by air, part-load sea freight or full 40 ft containers, on EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP or DDP terms. With DDP, the price includes freight, customs and import duty to your door.
