General-purpose stainless steel
A versatile austenitic stainless steel offering good corrosion resistance and broad general-engineering performance.

Complex stainless steel components with fine detail, near-net geometries, and broad alloy selection for demanding industrial applications.
We take your part from DFM review and pattern development through wax sampling, shell building, casting, and final finishing, with each stage building on the last.
We review wall thickness, geometry, fillets, gates, and features before pattern development. Required changes are identified to improve castability, pattern manufacture, and final part quality.
Once the design is approved, we develop the pattern tooling and produce wax patterns representing the final casting geometry. Patterns are inspected before assembly.
Wax patterns are assembled into a tree and coated with ceramic slurry and stucco to build a controlled ceramic shell. The shell is dried and prepared for dewaxing and casting.
The wax is removed from the ceramic shell, the mold is prepared and heated, and molten stainless steel is poured. The castings are then inspected for dimensions, appearance, and casting quality.
Once the casting process is approved, production continues using the validated pattern, shell, and pouring process. Castings are knocked out, cut from the tree, finished, inspected, and prepared for delivery.
Choose the right stainless steel grade based on corrosion resistance, strength, hardness, temperature, and the requirements of the final application.
General-purpose stainless steel
A versatile austenitic stainless steel offering good corrosion resistance and broad general-engineering performance.
Corrosion-resistant alloy
Provides improved corrosion resistance compared with 304, particularly where chlorides and more aggressive environments are involved.
High-strength stainless steel
A precipitation-hardening stainless steel offering high strength combined with good corrosion resistance.
Hardenable stainless steel
A martensitic stainless steel offering good strength and hardness with moderate corrosion resistance.
Duplex stainless steel
Combines high strength with strong resistance to corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking in demanding environments.
Stainless steel investment casting combines complex geometry, fine detail, material flexibility, and near-net-shape production for demanding metal components.
Select from a broad range of stainless steel grades based on corrosion resistance, strength, temperature, and application requirements.
Investment casting reproduces fine features, intricate profiles, and detailed geometries that can be difficult to machine.
Complex shapes, undercuts, internal passages, and other difficult features can be produced with reduced machining requirements.
The process supports close casting tolerances, with critical features able to be machined when tighter requirements are needed.
Investment castings can produce good as-cast surface finish, with additional finishing available for more demanding requirements.
Near-net-shape geometry can reduce the amount of material removal required on suitable components.
Typical capabilities depend on alloy selection, part geometry, pattern design, shell system, casting conditions, and required tolerances.
Stainless steel investment castings can be finished for cleanliness, corrosion resistance, appearance, and surface uniformity. The right treatment depends on the material grade and application.
