A forklift that drives itself
Warehouse automation is one of the fastest-moving areas in industry. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) move materials around a facility without constant human input, improving efficiency and safety.
Loop AMR is part of a series of industrial AMRs and AGVs built to automate material handling, transport and pick-and-place work in warehouses and factories. One of them is a forklift-style AMR designed to run fully autonomously.
The client came to CADLETE Designs to develop the physical robot platforms, and for the brand behind them.
The goal
A robust, flexible robotic platform ready for real industrial use, backed by a strong brand for the robotics company.
Industrial strength, autonomy and flexibility in one machine
A warehouse robot has to carry real loads, survive industrial conditions, find its own way and adapt to different jobs.
Heavy-duty structure
The robot needed a strong industrial chassis and outer structure for warehouse conditions.
Lifting and transport
The forklift mechanism had to move loads reliably.
Autonomy
The robot had to navigate, transport loads and return to its charging station on its own.
Flexibility and integration
The platform had to support different AMR and AGV functions, with mechanics, electronics and software working as one robot.
From chassis frames to a robot in the warehouse
Five stages, shown with real photos from the build and testing.
Stage 01 · Chassis and structure
A chassis and a heavy-duty sheet metal body
We designed the robot chassis and the heavy-duty industrial outer structure, using sheet metal design and mechanical engineering.
The photos show the chassis frames ready for assembly and the outer body, first as formed sheet metal and then finished.

A forklift mechanism and the internal mechanisms
We developed the internal mechanisms and the forklift mechanism that lifts and carries loads.

One working robot, with remote control
We worked on the overall hardware and software integration to deliver a fully functional robotic platform with remote-control capability and integrated operating functions.
Drive units, wiring and electronics sit inside the chassis, under the body.

Tested in warehouses in Ahmedabad
The robot was physically tested in warehousing environments in Ahmedabad.
It is now progressing toward real-world industrial deployment, with the platform being used and further developed for production applications.

A brand for Loop Robotics, and a series of robots
We supported the brand development for Loop Robotics, including the logo, visual identity and overall branding direction.
This robot is one of a series of platforms developed for the client, including military gate robots, UV sanitization robots, car ticket delivery robots and robotic platforms with manually operated robotic arms.

Questions about this project
What is an AMR, and how is it different from an AGV?
An Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) navigates a facility on its own, while an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) traditionally follows fixed guides or routes. The Loop platform was designed so that different AMR and AGV functions can be integrated depending on the application.
What does an autonomous forklift robot do?
It lifts and moves loads without a driver. Loop AMR navigates through the facility, transports loads and automatically returns to its charging station, without continuous manual intervention.
Can CADLETE build the physical robot for a robotics company?
Yes. For Loop AMR, CADLETE handled the chassis, the heavy-duty outer structure, the internal and forklift mechanisms, sheet metal design and mechanical engineering, plus hardware and software integration.
Why sheet metal for an industrial robot body?
Sheet metal gives a strong, heavy-duty structure suited to warehouse conditions, and it can be cut, bent and joined into large enclosures without molds.
Was the robot tested in real conditions?
Yes. Loop AMR was physically tested in warehousing environments in Ahmedabad and is progressing toward real-world industrial deployment.
Will my product idea stay confidential?
Yes. CADLETE signs a non-disclosure agreement before any technical information is shared, so your design files and IP stay yours.
