Vintage Cane Bolt: Classic Looks, Engineered Mechanism
A US-based client wanted a distinctive, vintage-style cane bolt for horse barns, doors and architectural applications, with a reliable mechanism and a premium appearance.
CADLETE Designs developed the product from scratch, including the locking mechanism and an internal beam mechanism that controls the open and closed positions. The bolt stops and rests at specific positions during operation, giving controlled locking and unlocking.
We built fully functional prototypes with CNC and VMC machining. The client tested them at their facility and, after successful validation, placed the production order. We then developed zinc die-casting tooling and manufactured the full range of components, followed by deburring, buffing, polishing and premium PVD coating.
CADLETE also designed the packaging and runs the box-build assembly, so products arrive ready to sell. We ship them to the client in 40 ft containers, managing everything from concept to delivery.
