Telescopic Ornament Hanger: Space-Saving Storage, Made in Aluminum

Ornaments are easy to lose track of when they are scattered across drawers and boxes. Our client wanted a single hanger that could store and display multiple ornaments together, and fit neatly into any wardrobe.

CADLETE Designs designed the complete hanger to the client's requirements. Its telescopic design lets it adjust to different wardrobe sizes, while the layout allows multiple ornaments to be stored and hung on one unit.

Before investing in production tooling, we built a fully functional prototype using sheet metal fabrication and VMC machining. This let the client test the telescopic function, the fit and the ornament storage on a real, working metal part.

With the design validated, we developed the molds for aluminum die casting, carried out volume production, and shipped the finished hangers to the client in the USA. The project shows how a metal prototype can de-risk a die casting program, from first concept all the way to export.
