AI Medical Tablet: Hardware for Smarter Post-Surgery Monitoring
Surgical site infections are one of the most common complications after surgery, and catching them early can prevent serious problems. Our client, a health-tech company, uses AI to monitor patients remotely after surgery and alert healthcare providers in time. To capture the data their AI needs, they required a dedicated tablet device.
CADLETE Designs developed the functional prototype of this AI tablet around the client's technical requirements. We worked through the processor and board selection, the required ports, and the integration of thermal and IR cameras into the system.
Hardware is only useful if it works with the software, so we tested the complete system with the client's own software to make sure every part performed together.
We delivered two fully functional prototypes, and the client is now working toward CDSCO certification, taking the device a step closer to clinical use.
