Pickleball Scoreboard V2: From Validated POC to Market-Ready MVP
After the first pickleball score unit proved itself in the market, the client was ready for the next step: a product built for crowdfunding and commercial launch. CADLETE Designs developed the advanced second-generation unit.
The new scoreboard features a more futuristic industrial design, a larger seven-segment display and expanded functionality. It also connects to the client's pickleball scoring app, linking the physical display with the digital scoring platform.
We handled end-to-end development: industrial design, mechanical development, PCB design and fabrication, embedded hardware, firmware, hardware-software integration, functional prototyping, tooling and manufacturing preparation.
The MVP is now tooling-ready, with injection molding tooling nearing completion, and has already received pre-orders. CADLETE is also supporting the complete box build, including electronics and mechanical assembly and packaging, so the client receives a finished product ready for market.
