Custom Pet Feeder Bowl: Built for Big Dogs, Expanded for Every Pet

Large breed dogs like Bull Mastiffs are strong, heavy eaters, yet very few feeder bowls are designed around their size and feeding behavior. Standard bowls get pushed, tipped and slid across the floor. Our client saw this gap in the pet product market and approached CADLETE Designs to create a feeder bowl made specifically for Mastiff owners.

We started with concept designs focused on stability, proportion and durability, then developed the selected direction into production-ready 3D CAD for injection molding. To stop the bowl from moving during feeding, we integrated a metal dead weight overmolded into the plastic base and added a custom anti-skid rubber pad. For branding on the curved surface, we used pad printing for a clean, durable logo.

Functional prototypes were tested by pet owners in everyday use, and the feedback was strong enough that the client expanded the idea into a complete feeder bowl range for all dog sizes and cats. The product has now moved into injection molding, with the first overmolding mold developed and initial production underway.
