Juice-Catch Chopping Board: No More Mess on the Counter
Flat chopping boards let juices and liquids run over the edges, leaving a mess on the countertop. A US-based client had an idea to fix that: build a slope and a collection area directly into the board.
CADLETE Designs developed the product around this functional requirement. The sloped surface lets liquids and vegetable juices flow naturally toward a dedicated collection area rather than spilling across the counter.
The board also includes a dedicated area for chopped vegetables, keeping them organized and making it easy to transfer them directly into a cooking vessel.
We focused on woodworking feasibility, flow management, usability, organization and practical kitchen use. The result is a cleaner, more organized chopping experience.
