Rotating Wheel Center Caps
About this project
We worked on designing and manufacturing custom rotating wheel center caps for automotive wheels. These center caps add a unique, eye-catching feature to vehicles by keeping the logo or emblem upright and visible even when the wheels are spinning.
What we did
Design & engineering: Created a customized design for the center caps, focusing on both style and the smooth functioning of the rotating mechanism.
Prototype development: Functional prototypes were made and thoroughly tested to ensure the rotation worked reliably at different speeds and conditions.
Injection mold design: After validating the design, developed precision injection molds for eight different sizes, making the caps compatible with a wide range of wheels.
Mass production: Oversaw the mass production process, ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards and consistent performance across all units.
Packaging design: Designed attractive and protective packaging to make the product stand out and stay safe during shipping.
