Coffee Measuring Spoons: From Sketch to Small Batch
Good coffee starts with the right dose. Our client needed coffee measuring spoons in two specific capacities, 2 tablespoons and 2⅔ tablespoons, designed to be simple and practical for everyday brewing.
CADLETE Designs began with ideation sketches to explore form, proportion and character for both spoon sizes. The selected concepts were then developed into 3D designs, and we produced 3D printed prototypes to test how the spoons worked in real use before finalizing them.
Once the prototypes confirmed the functionality, we produced a small batch of the spoons in various colors, turning the concept into a finished, ready-to-use product.
This project shows how a small everyday product benefits from the same process as a complex one: sketch, design, prototype, then produce. Rapid prototyping with 3D printing kept development fast, and small batch production gave the client real products without committing to large volumes.
